John A Koziol

With 48 years of experience in nursing and education, John Koziol brings a wealth of expertise to the faculty. Specializing in nursing informatics, John has extensive experience and has taught the EPIC documentation system in New York hospitals. He was instrumental in the transition from paper to electronic documentation. His nursing background includes data mining and working in home care, Adult ICU, CCU, Pediatric ICU, and Neonatal ICU. John also has extensive management experience in postpartum, newborn nursery, and Pediatric units. He has been instrumental in the simulation and skills lab, as well as in fit testing nursing students. 

John is the past-President of the Zeta Omega At-Large Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, the honor society of nursing.
