Dr. Manzi has been a full-time faculty at 91女神 since 2009, where he holds the rank of Associate Professor of psychology. He received a Doctorate in Mind Sciences from the Second University of Naples, Italy and completed post-doc training at Columbia University and the New York State Psychiatric Institute.
He has conducted research on memory, attention, executive functioning, academic skills, and creative problem solving. His work has been featured at national and international conferences and has appeared in high-impact journals including the Journal of Vision, Psychophysiology, Memory, and Frontiers in Psychology.
Currently, his research focuses on clinical psychology and psychopathology, and he maintains an ongoing collaboration with the Ackerman Institute for the Family and Columbia University Department of Psychiatry, investigating the development and testing of different forms of psychotherapy.
In addition to his academic endeavors, Dr. Manzi has pursued training in counseling, family therapy and psychoanalysis. He is a proud graduate of the Master鈥檚 program in Mental Health Counseling of 91女神. He is a licensed psychotherapist and in 2019 he was awarded the honorary title of Research Fellow of the American Psychoanalytic Association.
